ORIANA Women's Choir (2012-2013 Season) A Canadian Christmas: A Celebration of the Season

ORIANA is delighted to present its first concert of the season on a Sunday afternoon. This entire concert features music written exclusively by Canadian composers and arrangers. Through this performance, we will celebrate a Canadian perspective on the music of Christmas. Featured composers include our honorary patron Ruth Watson Henderson, our composer in residence Michael Sawarna, as well as Donald Patriquin, Healey Willan, Eleanor Daly, and Mark Sirett.

From the familiar O Christmas Tree and a haunting setting of The Huron Carol, to a new version of Gaia’s Lullaby, this Christmas offering is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

How to get to Grace Church on-the-Hill

300 Lonsdale Road (at Russell Hill Road), Northwest of Avenue Road and St. Clair Avenue West.

From St. Clair subway station:
Take the St. Clair streetcar West to Russell Hill Road, then walk North 2 streets to Lonsdale Road.

From St. Clair West subway station:
Take the St. Clair streetcar East to Russell Hill Road, then walk North 2 streets to Lonsdale Road.

Weekdays only:
From St. Clair West subway station, take the Forest Hill bus (every 20 minutes) North on Spadina Road to Lonsdale Road, then walk East 1 street to Russell Hill Road.

Parking can be found on-street at most times of day. Paid parking is available on Lonsdale, and free parking on Russell Hill Southbound weekdays and weekends, or Northbound after business hours on weekdays and on weekends.
