Prof. Sara Seager (MIT): seeking the stuff of life beyond our solar system
Dr. Firouz Naderi (NASA JPL), engineering the future of robotic space exploration
Dr. Narendra Bhandari (Indian Space Res. Org.): India's Space Program finds water in the lunar desert

The 7th annual Symposium organized by ASX aims to educate the public on some of the projects in astronomy and space exploration. ASX’s annual Symposium is the largest single-day space related event in Canada, and in the past six years drawing a combined audience of about 5,000 people from across Canada and the U.S. This event has featured world-renowned speakers in the forefront of space research and programs, including Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield (CSA), Anousheh Ansari (First Female Private Space Explorer), Dr. Carolyn Porco (Saturn Cassini Mission), Dr. Darlene Lim (NASA Ames), Prof. Mike Brown (Discoverer of the 10th Planet), and Dr. Bob Richards (CEO, Odyssey Moon).

This event annually attracts audiences of more than a thousand, so book your tickets early.
